Urgent EpiPen recall

Four batches of EpiPens have been recalled because they may not activate or need extra force to activate. If you have any EpiPens 300mcg with batch numbers: 5FA665, 5FA6651, 5FA6652 or 5FA6653, please visit your local pharmacy ASAP for replacements. Our infirmary staff are in the process of replacing our supply of the EpiPens mentioned above.

Child safety
Assumption College is a child-safe school, committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students. Child safety standards in Victoria have recently changed, and to see the implications for how we support students to know, understand and respond to matters of safety and abuse, please click here.

A review of uniform standards - And we need your feedback
We would like guidance from you, parents and guardians, on the uniform standards you would like us to maintain among your children and will email you a survey link next week.

Through this survey, we hope to find out majority parental expectations around a few key areas regarding student presentation. We will also be seeking our students' opinions.

Once survey results are in we will use them as a basis for reiterating school uniform expectations, ensuring they are clearly understood and enforced by staff. It is an enrolment expectation that  parents, guardians and students support our uniform policy.

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund
If you have a current health care card, you may be eligible for assistance through the state government’s Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF). Download the form, by clicking on the link above, complete it and email it to Dianne Fitzgerald dianne.fitzgerald@assumption.vic.edu.au in our Accounts Department.

Bus Safety
For the safety of students using the Assumption College bus service, seatbelts must, by law, be worn on buses fitted with them.  Parents and guardians are asked to support bus drivers by ensuring your children wear seatbelts.  For any queries regarding the bus service please email Dianne Fitzgerald at bus@assumption.vic.edu.au or phone 5782 1422.

The Marlhes Restaurant reopens to the public in May
The restaurant will be open from 6pm, on Wednesday, May 3, May 17 and June 14. Bookings, at 15-minute intervals, can be made by clicking here with the last at 7.15pm. Book early as numbers are limited.  Further opportunities to enjoy a meal with us will be advertised later in the year.

Lost property
Every term, dozens of items of clothing are handed in to lost property in the infirmary. Most items are unnamed which makes it difficult to return them to their owners. Parents and guardians, please clearly name all items of clothing and headwear so they can be returned quickly. Anything unclaimed will be donated to Vinnies.
